Summer fun signs up starts now!

Coming new this summer 2016, Social Skills Summer Fun for individuals on the Autism Spectrum or others that need more support in developing and maintaining friendships, conversations and general social skills.  July 25th and 28th Monday – Thursday 9-12 ( emergomg social skills), 1PM-4PM ( higher  functioning social skills). Extra support personnel provided to assist in engagement, visual supports used, as well as lessons from Michelle Garcia Winner’s educational philosophy (ex: being part of a group, being social detective, big problem, little problem , using eyes to think) — all in a natural setting on 50 acres of sprawling fields, vegetable gardens and woods at The Youth Enrichment Center at Hilton-Winn Farm. Daily activities integrated into animal care, gardening, hiking, crafts and social circles.

Two groups are in the works:  Primary (those learning fundamentals of social engagement)  and Secondary (for middle and high school students , and advanced social skills experiences ).
